Farmhouse Style Dining Room

Whenever I begin a new design project, I like to start by searching for room inspiration.

Often I begin by checking out some of my favorite Bloggers and Instagramers.  Even my own creativity needs a little kick start sometimes, and I love seeing what others are doing.   Today I wanted to kick things off by sharing my newly restyled dinning room.  Sharing more about my dinning room sources and a few of my favorite pieces to help inspire you in your own dining space.

First off, lets talk farmhouse style dining tables.

I picked up my farmhouse dining table two years ago from a local furniture shop called DownEast Home here in Utah.  Good news is I love it.  Bad news is they don’t ship and they don’t sell it anymore.  After hundreds of requests wanting to know more about this table.  I thought I would share a few of my favorite tables, I think are similar and know you will love.

Next I want to talk dining chairs – did you see my last posts about them.

I love the ones that I have, but am on the hunt for new ones (after a sharpie may have found its way into my sweet daughters hands).   The chairs I have are some of my all time favorites in this room I love having a bench, chairs and captain chairs in a dining room.

Wall art in a dining rooms always needs to be suited for the space…

When I found these botanical prints at my local Rod Works in Lehi I knew they would be perfect in my dining room.  While I love Rod Works where I found them, they are also local to Utah and don’t ship.  I have rounded up and linked a few of my favorite wall art pieces I thought you would like as well.

Great looking faux greenery

Where has this stuff been all my life.  I never knew how much I loved a good spray of faux eucalyptus greenery.  These gems are from a few different shops.  One from Hobby Lobby and the other from At Home Stores.  Eucalyptus this year have been my go to accent for simplicity and a give my rooms that pop of color I need.

I snapped these photos before some friends came to visit over hot chocolate a few weeks ago.  There is nothing like sharing your home and your beautifully styled space with those you love.  It was the perfect afternoon and makes me want to do it all again.
